Nebula's Story...
It amazes us how these sweet babies survive being tossed out on the street in the cold. :( This beautiful little girl was trying so hard to get into the grocery store one super cold day. I think it was about 20 below zero that week. Way too cold for anyone to be homeless. A kind person did pick her up, she called our kitty foster mom, Auntie MJ. Just like always Marjean rushed to the rescue. She Scooped this girl up and took her home. She nursed her back to health and made sure she was strong and happy. Nebula has since been spayed and is up on all her vaccinations. She is micro chipped and totally box trained. She loves to snuggle and she's a talker. She loves toys and treats. She watches everything that goes on around her. Especially that pesky Lincoln. :( Nebula needs to be an only child. She is not so crazy about sharing with other kitties or dogs. She loves people though, so she would make a wonderful, loving companion. Nebula is a 2 year old beautiful Bob Tail Tortie. You have to see her in person to know how absolutely gorgeous she is. Please call 208 339 0130 or email kjfam@dcdi.net for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nebula, a Montpelier American Bobtail cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bobtail for sale in Montpelier, or seeking a American Bobtail cat from a breeder in Montpelier.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montpelier already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montpelier breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bobtail breeders who help with American Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montpelier paves the way for another one to be saved.
