Sullivan & Josie's Story...
Sullivan was adopted last summer and bonded to a Josie. The family could no longer care for the bunnies, so they were returned to us. They are both wonderfully sweet bunnies! Sullivan is an English Angora and while he is very cute it is strongly preferred that he goes to a home with Angora rabbit experience. Angora fur is very different than normal bunny fur and if not kept short will get out hand very quickly. Josie is a big girl (about 19 lbs) and loves attention. They look like quite the odd couple, but they are very bonded and must be adopted together and stay together for life!

We adopt out to indoor homes only! If you are under the age of 18 we will need a parent or legal guardian to contact us. Our adoption fee is $85 for a single bunny and $140 for a bonded pair. For more information or if you are interested in adopting please send us an email at thebunnyburrowrr@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sullivan & Josie, a Watauga Flemish Giant was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flemish Giant for sale in Watauga, or seeking a Flemish Giant from a breeder in Watauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Watauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Watauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flemish Giant breeders who help with Flemish Giant rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Watauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
