My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bailey the super-loving, 2-year-old, orange tabby gal. Did you know that orange female cats are much rarer than orange males? There’s a lot of science behind it to explain why, but to us it just proves what we already knew to be true: That Bailey is one special girl. Bailey was one of over 30 cats that were recently pulled from a hoarding house. Luckily for them, conditions were generally pretty good. Now these kitties are all looking to find homes where they will get to be the focus and centers of attention, especially Bailey. Yes, Bailey adores attention. All you have to do is look in her direction and she immediately starts purring and “making biscuits”. It’s hard to pass her by without stopping to snuggle a bit. If your family is looking to grow by one super sweet and incredibly affectionate cat, look no further. Contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Bailey!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to reduce unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats in at-risk situations and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
