Baker's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Baker's Story...
Yeah, most Bakers work with flour and sugar…but this Baker, he works with love. You should just see what I can cook up with love…I can build you the bestest friend you’ve ever had, I can blend together the most wonderful companion you could ask for, I can concoct you one affectionate and loving family pet. This Baker is willing to share his utensils with other dogs and children too. I even work well with cats, but I might not be able to help chasing them out of the kitchen now and then! I keep my work space clean and I am very courteous…a real joy to be around. I walk nicely on leash, I’m already crate trained, and I know a couple basic commands. So how about you just take me home and let’s see what kind of future we can bake together? 1 year old-43lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baker, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Greyhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Greyhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
