My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow-Sr. is a handsome, black and tan, male German Shepherd. He is approximately 8 years old and weighs 85 pounds.
He came into our program as a victim of neglect. He had a skin condition that his previous owners failed to treat and he has some areas on his skin that will never regrow hair because the hair follicles died from long term skin infections. He has a wonderful temperament and is good with kids and other dogs. He has a low-medium energy level and is crate-trained and housebroken.
MTGSR pulled Shadow-Sr from Williamson County Animal Center in Franklin, TN.
All dogs adopted from Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped and our adoption fee is $250. For more information or to request an adoption application, please email us at adoption.mtgsr@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our philosophy is “Rescue locally, place locally” which means we primarily pull dogs from shelters in the Nashville area AND we prefer to place our dogs in homes within a one-hour drive of Nashville. If you are outside of the Nashville area, please consider adopting a homeless dog in your local community.
