Arrival story: We were contacted by shelter staff trying to find a rescue to save this sweet girl. Luckily, we had a spot available.

Personality: Pip is as sweet as they come. She has beautiful, soulful eyes and long silky ears. She's a gentle soul who is coming out of her shell more and more every day.

Pip is in a training class where she is working hard on her basic commands. Good girl, Pip! She walks well on a leash, is house trained and crate trained. She does well in the car and at the vet's office. Our girl takes treats gently and will give you gentle kisses on the chin.

Forever home: Pip is seeking a loving and patient family who will take her on walks and provide her with plenty of playtime. She can be startled by loud noises, so a home without children or older children is best. Pip would prefer to have you all to her self, so a home without other dogs would suit her just fine. If you're looking for a walking companion and a snuggle buddy, sweet Pip may be the girl for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pip - Pending, a Northville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Northville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
