Dalila's Story...
Dalila looks like a miniature golden. All we know for sure that she is 1/2 Shih Tzu and 1/2 who knows what! She is very very shy at first but warms up after she knows she can trust you. She likes to go for walks and will always lie with you when you sleep! What a good girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dalila, a Wrightsville Golden Retriever/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shih Tzu for sale in Wrightsville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Wrightsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wrightsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wrightsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wrightsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
