Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE - 23 APRIL 2016: Hello, my name is Duke and my foster mom says my name fits me to a "T." Dukes are distinguished older gentlemen that have that walk that says I'm a leader and deserve respect. I get along with my foster siblings, but I can also be a solitary guy too who will follow you around. I love to go in and out through the doggy door into the fenced backyard. I sleep all night long on the bed and love to curl up on the couch. The vet says I have a heart murmur, but my foster mom says that's okay as she has lived with hers for decades with no issues. Don't let my age discourage you from meeting me, I love running and playing! So, the only question remains, "Are you worthy of the Duke?"
Duke is a 7- to 8-year-old neutered male beagle. He has lovely liver tri-color markings. Blake is friendly and good with other dogs but was a stray from Madison County, Virginia, and his history is unknown.
