"My name is WANDA, and I'm a six-year-old pit bull terrier whose heart longs for somebody who'll show me the love and attention that I deserve. I possess the perfect combination of gentleness and playfulness; just the right amount of each. I take treats very gently and respectfully, I've already been house trained, and I'm working on my basic training skills. I love any and all attention that I get, so I sure do appreciate it when the staff and volunteers here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter hug me and scratch behind my ears. Everybody tells me that I'm a true sweetie-pie! I started going on walks since I got here, and now I walk quite nicely on a leash. I'm a smart girl who can learn whatever else you'd like to teach me. I'd do best in a home where the kids are older, and I'd need to be the only dog in my new home. A good-sized yard for me would be ideal, and I'd love to take a daily walk with you. Won't you please come visit me? I'd enjoy spending time with you out in the nice play yard that they have here. You'll see when you meet me that I'm friendly, loving, and affectionate.
