My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Parker and Lizzy were rescued separately, and from very different circumstances, but they have formed a bond, a love affair with each other that we don't want to break.

Parker was rescued from a downtown vet clinic after he was poisoned. The owners could not afford the treatment so relinquished him and we brought him into our foundation as soon as he was well. Parker is a beautiful and active, just over one year old boy, and he absolutely adores Lizzy. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. He is good with all people and other dogs.

Lizzy is a two year old Schnauzer mix, was rescued off the streets of Mexico and rushed to our vets in LA or she would have died. She had been kicked so badly in her jaw that it broke. Lizzy could not close her mouth or eat or drink for three weeks. After major jaw surgery, Lizzy began her long road back. Parker was fostered in the same home and they formed an immediate bond. Lizzy is now a healthy, active, amazing dog and she loves Parker. She is more possessive of her owner and defends her turf but after what she's been through, who could blame her! She is not aggressive or a biter and is super loving to all people. She is spayed microchipped and UTD in shots.

We are looking for a loving and safe home for this beautiful couple. A non chaotic environment and owners who are not gone for eight hours a day and can dote on them both.
