Chip is a sweet and affectionate kitty who purrs so loud he vibrates - - yes, really! He’s not quite a year old and very friendly. His favorite thing is another cat; he loves to snuggle up with another kitty to sleep. In fact, he uses some of the older kitties in his foster home for pillows and they don’t seem to mind at all!
He loves to run and play. And he has a great time chasing his toys. YEOWEE catnip toys are his favorite. He’s also happy with almost anything; a ball, a piece of string, he’s highly creative! You can join in or just sit back and watch the fun.
Chip has a sleek jet black coat with a tiny bit of white on his tummy and one white whisker. He loves one-on-one contact and will want to stretch out close to you at bedtime to maximize body contact. And of course, he enjoys cuddles and pets. He’s a love bug!
Chip is great with other cats, nice children and possibly even a gentle dog! This loving little boy would enjoy being with people and a home with room to play.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.
Our Adoption Fee for Chip is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia Testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails. All Fees will be returned.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
