Charlie's Story...
Hi my name is Charlie! I was picked up by a local shelter after living the bachelor life for a few months. The shelter vet thought I was 5-7 years old but whats in a number. When you first meet me I will tell you all about my adventures! Now I am enjoying a more laid back life with my foster family. I am an inside dog and they have two young kids that I just love to cuddle with. I am currently living with other furry friends but it has taken me a while to warm up to them. I like to have my own personal space. My foster mom says I'm sooo smart! She just loves to brag that I am house trained, use the dog door, and walk nicely on a leash. I would love to tell you more about me! Call me! Please visit me at http://www.okbr.org/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Norman Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Norman, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
