My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coquette is a beautiful pure-bred Scottish Fold. She’s 8 yrs old and a very sweet girl. In fact, we think she’s adorable!! She likes to be petted and loves head scratches but she does not like to be picked up or held. She's not a lap cat but will be happy to sit next to you on the sofa. Calm and docile, Coquette is not bothered by much. She enjoys having a window to look out and a comfy bed for long naps.

Coquette doesn't need a lot of playtime. She does like her catnip toys and will bat a wand toy for a a minute or two but she does not run or chase and her activity level would be considered low. She really just wants to enjoy being in your company whether it's watching TV, reading or whatever you're doing.

Coquette has always been an only kitty but would probably be fine with gentle children. We don't know if she will get along with other cats or dogs. She would be perfect as an only cat in an older, adult household!

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.

Our Adoption Fee for Coquette is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia Testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails. All Fees will be returned.

Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties
