SADIE's Story...
Dear, sweet, lovely Sadie has had a sad thing happen in her life. Her human mom died, and her dad couldn't keep her. How very, very sad for Sadie and her friend Ozzie (who lived in the same home). We have explained to them what happened, but they keep hoping beyond hope that their mom will come back for them. However, they are beginning to understand that she probably won't, and they have said they will move on to another home and love another family for the rest of their days. Sadie is a purebred Dachshund and she was born in 2007. She's a beautiful and loving lady, she's house trained, and she will make a grand companion for someone who is looking for a sweet older dog for their best friend. ADOPTION PENDING

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SADIE, a Anna Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Anna, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Anna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anna paves the way for another one to be saved.
