Dear, sweet, lovely Sadie has had a sad thing happen in her life. Her human mom died, and her dad couldn't keep her. How very, very sad for Sadie and her friend Ozzie (who lived in the same home). We have explained to them what happened, but they keep hoping beyond hope that their mom will come back for them. However, they are beginning to understand that she probably won't, and they have said they will move on to another home and love another family for the rest of their days. Sadie is a purebred Dachshund and she was born in 2007. She's a beautiful and loving lady, she's house trained, and she will make a grand companion for someone who is looking for a sweet older dog for their best friend. ADOPTION PENDING
