Meet EEYORE, such a sweet boy. This poor boy was found abandoned in an underpopulated area. EEYORE is a pug mix about 7 - 8 months old. EEYORE dreams of an active family! He dreams of a family that wants to teach him everything they know as he is very eager to please. He dreams of a yard, long walks and runs, trips to the beach, and a human to snuggle with. EEYORE loves to play with other dogs and would do best with a pup that wants to play play play! He gets along well with adult cats and tries to play with them. He loves children, but might be a little to high energy for small children until he is taught differently. He is working on his house training but is crate trained. . If you think you are a good match for EEYORE and willing to work with him, please email

About Wags and Whiskers

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small foster based rescue group who pulls dogs and cats from local kill shelters along the gulf coast. Our goal is to rescue these unwanted precious souls, get them healthy and happy, and then place them in their perfect forever home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our dogs are in foster homes, but we are very easy and flexible to set an appointment up with to meet one of our animals. We also participate regularly at adoption events with other local rescues.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions are subject to adoption application and home visit/meet and greet with the potential adopters. The adoption fee is $150 for all animals which includes all age appropriate shots, wormer, heart worm test if of age, rabies if of age, spay/neuter, monthly preventatives while in our care, and any other medical attention that may be needed.
