Mocha's Story...
Look at that sweet face on this little puppy! Mocha came to us when her former guardian could not care of her. Mocha loves to play with other dogs and is already being well socialized with playing in her foster home. She is a typical puppy with puppy energy so she will need someone to continue her puppy training. Mocha is about 3 months old as of March 2016. We expect her to be a medium to large dog. She is the bold one between her and and her sister, Carmel. She loves to play and loves to run free outside. She plays in water and is not afraid to explore. She's a bit rough and stands her ground pretty well with her sister. She loves jumping!! Her face gives away her personality. One look at Mocha and you already know you have a fun little rascal on your hands. Mocha's foster mom calls her a "sweet and loving little pup." She is good with children, ages ranging from 16 months to 13 years. She knows to go to the door to go to the bathroom, but can't hold it very long. She is continuing to work on her potty manners. Mocha is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She is just waiting on her forever family to come and get her. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mocha, a Evansville Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
