Chad (Joe 'Joey' Cocker)'s Story...
ADOPTED Joe Cocker (Joey) is a pure cocker spaniel that we just rescued. He was a stray that was picked up by the local animal shelter & no one came to claim him. Joey is about 3 years old & a very mellow guy. He is a gentle sould & will make for a wonderful low-key companion. Joey is living with other dogs, children, horses, goats & cats & is quite apathetic about it all. He'd rather just lay down & take in the sights or sniff a patch of grass. Joey is UTD on vax & neutered & all ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chad (Joe 'Joey' Cocker), a Brookeville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Brookeville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Brookeville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookeville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookeville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookeville paves the way for another one to be saved.
