Ruby does not play with other dogs and may be afraid of big quick movements from strangers.  As a puppy, Ruby was rescued with her litter to an over-crowded shelter.  She was transferred to a smaller foster home several months ago to heal injuries from a shelter dogs attack.  She is highly treats and food motivated and will take treats from new people even in an unfamiliar environment.  Once Ruby bonds with her humans she would ask for pets and waits quietly by one’s side to go out for walks.  She’s looking for a experienced and patient family who can provide a moderate amount of exercise and further socialization with people.

Ruby is spayed (October-28-2015), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed (1st day of each month) and tested negative for heartworm.

About CERA Dog Society

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters must fill out an application form. If the application is approved, a home check is performed. An assessment of whether or not the dog is a good fit for the family is also performed. If the adoption is approved, an adoption contract is signed and adoption fees are paid (typically between $350-500). The dog is then flown over from Taiwan, or if the dog is fostered locally, the family can take the dog home immediately.
