Adeline is a lovely tabico (tabby and calico) girl 3-4 years old.
Adeline is a low-maintenance cat who doesn’t ask for much. She’s just learning to trust people, so often keeps to herself. Adeline will retreat to her safe space when people are around, like a favorite cat bed, and really needs to be sought out for attention, sometimes giving a quick hiss when she’s unsure of herself.
Adeline may be guarded when approached, but once she feels comfortable, she purrs loudly with pets, even rolling onto her back with her front paws swimming in the air with belly rubs. She also enjoys batting at a cat dancer toy when it’s nearby.
Adeline needs to continue to build her confidence with a cat-experienced guardian who understands that she needs time to settle in, and will continue to evolve. She seems cat-tolerant if given a slow introduction, and should be in a quiet home without young children.
