Bailey's Story...
All around swell guy! Bailey is polite with other dogs, playful and sweet. He likes to play actively, then cuddle on the couch for the night. This poor guy was running as a stray in California for months, but now is safe in our rescue. He has recently had surgery to repair a luxating patella and is healing nicely. He will be ready to meet his new family soon and is sure to be your new best friend. Contact us today to get pre-approved to adopt at Bailey cannot go to a home with cats or small dogs as he does have a high prey drive. He would be a great dog to do obedience trial with as he is very smart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Fort Wayne Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Wayne, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
