Bernie's Story...
Greetings friends! My name is Bernie and I am a handsome Bernese Mountain Dog mix born in 2007. I currently weigh about 57 pounds.

I'm a very sweet guy who loves being outside and going for nice, long walks. I seem to do well with other dogs, but would need to meet any potential fur-siblings before going home with you. I should not live in a home with cats or small children. I'm housetrained and know all my basic commands, but would love to continue my higher education with you!

Sound like a good fit for your home? Ask to meet me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernie, a Denver Bernese Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
