If you are looking for a spunky, affectionate, smart and well-behaved dog, then Budderkup could be the one for you! Budderkup loves to romp and run and play with other dogs! He would be so happy to have another dog in his new home. The best situation for him would be to have a canine sibling or at least a doggie playmate nearby. Budderkup is also wonderful with people. He is very affectionate and enjoys a good snuggle and hugs from his human friends. If you are ok with a 26-lb lap buddy, then Budderkup will be right there! He is quiet inside the house and has lovely inside manners. He is crate-trained and housebroken. Budderkup walks very well on leash and will enjoy making new friends in the neighborhood. He would need to work up to it, but could be a good jogging and running buddy too. He would love to be a part of his family's daily activities and will relish adventures at the park or on road trips. Budderkup is very in tune with his people and is eager to please. He has a short coat that is easy to maintain and a happy outgoing personality. Budderkup should do well with children and seems ok with our cats. He is going to be a loving and loyal companion. He is 2 years old. Meetings are held at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville by appointment only so you must call to arrange a time. All family members including any other dogs should come to the meeting. Budderkup is spayed, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
