Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everyone, my name is Lily! I am an adorable nine almost ten year old lemon beagle who is part of Midwest BREW’s AARB program. I had a very loving family for my entire life. Unfortunately, two of the children in my home had some disabilities and they had trouble processing my day to day doggie sounds. They were starting to hit and kick me because they honestly did not understand, and my family thought it was best for me to find another home. That is when my foster family stepped in to help me.
So let me tell you some things about my personality …
I am a very gentle
I walk nicely on a leash
I am house trained
I take treats without catching a finger
I am not overly food driven
I tend to be a bit of a couch potato
I get along with the four other beagles in my foster home (including the overly sassy female)
I am not 100% cat tested, but the few times I have been around one I was pretty indifferent
I do have some minor medical issues, but all of my issues can be addressed once you know about them. I think my ideal home will be one that is a bit on the quiet side, and with people who are willing to let me be a lap dog (literally). Note from the foster home: Lily’s original family did a wonderful job with her. She is an extremely well behaved girl, and she seems to get along with just about everyone. She has been a very easy addition to our home, and we have been enjoying her during her stay with us.
