My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sandy. I was with a backyard breeder and spent most of my life outside in a box, but I do have very good manners if I do say so myself. And I’ve had several litters of puppies but that hasn’t affected my girlish figure. I’m a very small gal; around 15lbs, and I have the cutest little feet that love to dance around the house. I look like a miniature Beagle with really big ears and the saddest hound eyes, but I’m not sad at all. I love being in the house and snuggling with my foster Beagle sister and my foster mom.
I’m working on house-training and haven’t had an accident in the house in a while. I don’t really know yet how to tell you I need to go out, but I give you plenty of notice when I do need to go. I do spend time in my crate when my foster mommy is gone, but I don’t mind too much. I also have the cutest howl that just makes everyone laugh. For a little bitty girl I really have a big hound voice. Not everyone may appreciate how I sing the song of my people, so an apartment may not be the best place for me. I am very vocal and will chat up a storm with you. I do like toys and I love to clean out the toy box and spread them all over the house. I really like stuffed animals, but I can’t have any right now because my foster sister disembowels them.
I usually sleep in my own bed, but sometimes foster mommy lets me get in bed with her. I’m not real sure yet what to do once I get in the big bed, but I’m trying to figure it out. I get along with the other Beagle here great. We run up and down the hall together and she’s teaching me to fetch, sit and stay, down. We also play a lot of tug-of-war.
So in closing if you’re looking for an energetic, playful cutie that loves to snuggle at the end of the day then I’m your girl.
