My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Maddie is currently being fostered in Houston and is available for out-of-state adoption. Her adoption fee is $200, which covers her flight, a new kennel, and of course she is fully vetted and healthy. Meeting her prior to adoption is unfortunately not possible.**

We actually rescued Maddie when she was just a kitten from the wall of an abandoned garage where her momma had sought safety to have her babies. We rescued the mom and all of her babies and found them all the best homes with loving families.

Maddie was adopted by an amazing family who took great care of her for the last four years. Unfortunately, recently, they fell on some hard times and found it financially challenging to care for her the way that she deserved.

Maddie is now around 5 years old. She is a beautiful girl that has the most amazing green eyes and loving personality. She is your typical, loveable housecat. She is sweet and affectionate, but also likes her alone time. She loves to sit on top of her cat tower and to sun in the window. She has lived with another cat in her foster home and has great fun playing with her. She has also been well socialized around dogs both small and large. She is a good kitty and is nice to the dogs as long as they provide her with her personal space; she does not harass the dogs!).

Maddie is not declawed, but she does not scratch furniture or claw at things. She has a scratching post that she likes a lot and that keeps her from scratching other things. She has always been an indoor cat and should be adopted by a family that plans to keep her as an indoor cat. She has been indoors since she was rescued and is in no way equipped to be outside.

Maddie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She has been given Advantage Multi as a preventative.
