Meet Rufus!
Our tough little guy with a small underbite and an eyepatch to match is one of the happiest little pups out there! He is happy, friendly and bold which makes for the best type of adventure partner! He struts around the house and engages in new activities without realizing he is only about 6 inches off the ground!
Mr. Iceman lives by the motto "play hard-nap hard". He loves to join his brother in investigating the refrigerator for any possible puppy food scraps and is also the first one to face a new obstacle without fear (like trying to jump on the bed, trying out a stair climb, or hopping off the sofa to chase his foster dog buddies.) He's a bold, sweet little cuddler, and a smarty who is super food motivated. He will be the star of his puppy class! He is a family guy and just waiting for a forever family with endless laps to cuddle in and adventures to go on!
Rufus and his brother came from family who reached out for help when their dog unexpectedly had puppies. The parents have appointments for spay/neuter and the pups became part of our adoption program. They have had their first round of puppy shots, have been dewormed, microchipped and will be neutered when they're a bit older. We expect him to grow to be about 12-20lbs as that's what his parents were.
Due to the expensive nature of animal rescue, we do have an adoption fee.
