Abigail's Story...
Abigail is a 5 month old Maine Coon (mix) kitten. She is fixed, micro-chipped and current on vaccines. She is shy around new people so she would need to be offered time to get to know her new family and surroundings. She was born and is being raised in the same home. She is a bit of a mommas girl, she follows Berlia where ever she goes. She can also be very vocal, she will just look at you and meow away. She is litter trained and tested negative for FeLV and should remain as an indoor cat only. She is ok around other cats, but I think she would do best in a home as an only cat. She does not like dogs and would be better in a home with older children as she can scare easily.

All of our pets are vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated appropriate to age and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Adopters receive a copy of the adoption contract, adoption receipt, available vet records, micro-chip registration card, and personalized engraved identification tag at the time of the adoption or a week after the adoption has been completed by mail.

Please Note: You must live in California and be 18+ years of age to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a North Hollywood Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in North Hollywood, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in North Hollywood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Hollywood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Hollywood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Hollywood paves the way for another one to be saved.
