Facts about Bella

  • Breed: Bull Terrier/Pointer Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Bella is approx. 2-3 years old and a bull terrier / pointer mix. Healthy, spayed, current on vaccines and chipped. She's had basic obedience training and is very attentive. She is sweet and submissive with people. She LOVES water! We put the hose on and she runs, jumps and bites it! It's a party.

Bella is best as an only dog. However, Bella loves to play with confident, energetic dogs that are her size. Her issue has been around food/treats/bones but she's showing improvement with that. It would be easier if she's the only dog but it doesn't mean she can't learn to live with another dog and she can have some playdates.

She's a wonderful girl that had a screwed up start, living on the mean streets of SLA, fending for herself. This poor dog was so badly mistreated. When she was found she required emergency surgery to remove the unborn puppies inside her. They did not make it. Bella is still a kid herself. Upon meeting her you will see she's beautiful, loving and eager to please.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website, LAAR.ORG. Go to the page titled "Adoption Process" for the application.

Our adoption process includes an application, home check, adoption contract and adoption fee.

We do not "sell" animals. We re-home animals and we ask for a donation to be made to our organization to help cover some of the costs we incur when we take on an animal. Quite often the animals are not in the best of health so they are immediately taken to the vet and given whatever medical attention is necessary. *The adoption fee for dogs is $300-500 and for cats/kittens is $175.
