Jenny Wren's Story...
Little Miss Jenny Wren is not picky about where she goes, as long as there are toys to play with, necks to sleep on, and you don't mind making room for her on your bed at night.... did we mention she likes to snuggle?! She is fostered in Madison, Alabama. She enjoys being the center of attention for her humans, but also likes playing with the other cats and dogs in her foster home. She is an over-all well adjusted little girl and came to us as a single kitten needing rescued. We'll never know where her mom or siblings went, but we can promise her that she will never be alone again. Fill out an application today at www.forrescue.net/cat-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny Wren, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
