Furrari's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Furrari's Story...
Furrari (Ari for short) and his mother, a 9 pound Maltese, were found when Ari was just one day old. They were both fostered until Ari was old enough to leave his mother and then EARS took him. His mother was adopted by her foster family. Ari is almost 5 months old and weighs about 5 pounds. He is a typical puppy who loves to run and play, eat and chew, snuggle, cuddle, and sleep. He is in a foster family with all sizes and ages of other dogs. Ari will be a small dog when fully grown. Please note that because he is so young and his teeth and nails are so sharp, we do not recommend him to families with children under 6.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Furrari, a Dallas Maltese/Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Shih Tzu for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Maltese/Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Maltese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
