My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Furrari (Ari for short) and his mother, a 9 pound Maltese, were found when Ari was just one day old. They were both fostered until Ari was old enough to leave his mother and then EARS took him. His mother was adopted by her foster family. Ari is almost 5 months old and weighs about 5 pounds. He is a typical puppy who loves to run and play, eat and chew, snuggle, cuddle, and sleep. He is in a foster family with all sizes and ages of other dogs. Ari will be a small dog when fully grown. Please note that because he is so young and his teeth and nails are so sharp, we do not recommend him to families with children under 6.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
