Noel's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Noel's Story...
Noel was brought to a local shelter after her three puppies were weaned. She is a Bichon or Bichon mix who weighs 9 pounds and is about 2-3 years old. Noel was probably hit by a car because she had a fractured pelvis which has now healed. Noel is a super sweet dog who LOVES to run and play and really likes to play with other dogs. She is very smart and curious and likes to look out the window or run outside to see what is going on. She has a doggie door at her foster home and is perfectly housebroken. Noel is very good in the crate and will go in it on her own. She is friendly, loves people, and loves attention. We don't know how she will be around cats. We think Noel will be happiest in a home with other dogs who like to play. Please note that we do not recommend Noel to families with children under 5.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noel, a Dallas Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
