Facts about Tami

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9505861
  • Hair: Unknown

Tami was found as a kitten after she was spayed, ear snipped, and tossed out as a feral....which she is NOT! She was starving behind a friend's house in College Park, hunkered in the bushes for a few very cold wet days by a bird feeder, trying to catch birds. She's a very clever and resilient cat who is in desperate need of a good home. We caught her and here we are. We need a home or even a foster ASAP!

Tami was terrified when we first trapped her, but still with that, she NEVER tried to scratch or bite. She has now quickly settled in to being the sweetest little cat elegant cat, loves other cats, and loves to be picked up and held. She loves to play. She has a huge purr!! She is still a bit scared if you move too quickly, but is 200% improved and will make a wonderful little pet. She is fully vetted and all shots. Tami enjoys snuggling once she's comfortable with you and often falls asleep while you rub her head.

About A Wecome Home Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

Our Adoption Process...

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.
