Sasha's Story...
My name is Sasha, and I am a sweet mostly white with gray tabby DSH/Turkish mix who just wants to hang out with you. You might say that I am part velcro and part cat. I am really a dog in a cat costume and full of love to give. I get along with almost all 2-legged and 4-legged creatures. I was born in the fall of 2013. I am a volunteer's favorite! Come meet me!
Sasha is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/ FIV negative, de-wormed, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing allowed. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Click the contact button so you can see if Sasha's Velcro sticks to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Houston Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Houston, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
