Aurora's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Aurora's Story...
Aurora is a beautiful short-haired dilute calico Turkish Van mix who was born in early 2013. The white blaze up her nose signifies the blessing of God, and her fawn and gray spot on her white shoulders is said to be the thumbprint of God. So she is doubly blessed by her coloring!
She would make someone a wonderful companion because she is sweet and calm. She is a whiz on the computer and is always right there to help her foster mom get things done right. She gets along with other cats and, although she has heard the dogs barking in the house, has not been in close proximity with them. She had a litter of kittens, and now it is her turn for her forever home.
Aurora is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Click the green contact button so we can arrange for you to see this lovely girl's striking markings in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aurora, a Houston Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Houston, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
