Casanova's Story...
My name is Casanova, and I am a Chihuahua-mix lover boy who was born in late 2013. I am the happiest boy who just wants to cuddle with you and keep your company. I would be great for one person or a family with kids - heck I just like people! I get along with everyone - 2 legged and 4 legged! I am house trained too!
I came into the Buster's Friends program because my family dropped me off at a grooming/ boarding facility and never picked me up. I guess they had some financial reverses or were moving away because I can't imagine any other reason that they would abandon a sweet boy like me.
Casanova is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. His adoption fee is $150, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the green contact button if you are interested in Casanova, and we can arrange for you to meet him. To make the process more efficient, download, print, and fill out the adoption application: http://www.bustersfriends.org/dogadoptionapplication.shtml

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casanova, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
