Candy is a petite lady who has recently lost her person to a terminal illness. Since there was no one left to care for her, Candy was brought to the vet to be euthanized. But, upon meeting this sweet dog, the vet decided she deserved a chance to enjoy her senior years and bring joy and comfort to another person. So Candy has been hanging out with the vet staff, waiting for that special human to be her companion. Candy spends most of her day curled up on her bed watching the vets at work. She eagerly welcomes the attention of anyone who takes the time to pet or hold her. In fact, she was hard to photograph because she wanted to keep scooting over closer to the photographer to be petted! As is common in older dogs, Candy has soreness in her joints. So, she is looking for a nice quiet home where she can cuddle and devote all her attention to a worthy caretaker. This is not a puppy who will run you ragged! But she will make your heart race with love when she turns her little face to gaze at you.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
