Name after the American Idols, Carrie ('female), Vonzell (female) and Bo (male) are a winning threesome. They have gorgeous, shiny black fur with a touch of white, and large yellow eyes. The sibs love to play and long to be held and petted by a human companion. Found in a school yard, the three were brought to VCA Wakefield and can be seen by appointment (781.245.0045). We have listed them as special needs because they tested postitive for FIV. Since they are so young, it is possible that they could test negative when they are older. However, they are currently completely healthy, active, kittens and very deserving of a loving home.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carrie, Vonzell, B, a Wakefield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakefield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Wakefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
