Holly's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Holly is a sweet, quiet cat. She gets along very well with other kitties and loves to be petted and combed. She is a former stray who came inside to have her babies. She's not a lap cat...but she loves attention and a good scratch around the neck. She will come up on the bed at night for her nightly scratch and will settle down for a while and then goes on her way. She is very playful and loves to sit and watch the squirrels and the birds. Holly would prefer a house where the lifestyle is quiet and there are no children. If you want a quiet loving companion, Holly is your girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Wakefield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakefield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wakefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
