Patch's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Patch is real beauty, all white with a gray patch on the top of her head and one blue and one green eye. She is soft and silky to pet. Patch is very timid with people, but when she gets to know someone she enjoys getting close and having her back rubbed. She should be adopted with her sister Samantha. Both these kitties are healthy neutered females. They are good eaters, enjoying both dry and canned food. Samantha and Patch will do best in a home with adults or older children. They need a home with lots of love and patience since both may be shy at first. They will reward that patience with lots of love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patch, a Wakefield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakefield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wakefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
