Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jackson (aka "Jack") is a 15 weeks old, 13 lb. male terrier mix puppy. Jack was found (with his sister Jillian) wandering alongside a dangerous highway. They were brought to the shelter in horrible condition, weighing only 3 lbs and covered in painful skin condition. A FOR foster took them home and started treatment and provided lots of TLC. Five weeks later, these pups are better than ever and are now ready for their FORever homes!
Jack is an outgoing, playful guy who is brave and boldly marches into any situation. He comes running when you call his name, and he loves to snuggle in your lap for a nap anytime you'll allow it. He gets along with the dogs, cats, chickens, and even horses that are on his foster's farm, and he also loves children. Jack is smart - he learned to use the doggie door in about 15 minutes! He's great in a crate and in a car, and he's working on potty training. Jack will be fully vetted by March 15 and able to go to his FORever home onMarch 19. If you're interested in meeting Jack and/or adopting him, please fill out an application here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Jack is fostered in New Market, AL but is available for adoption in your area.
