Bodhi, fka Tobias, ended up as just a little pup at Fulton County with an icky case of mange. We just so happened to have a foster home open up for a male puppy so we welcomed Bodhi into the Forlorn Family on March 14th.
The name Bodhi means awakened. Bodhi is crate-trained and housebroken. He is very smart and food motivated. His foster mom has already taught him sit, kennel-up, and give five. Bodhi loves to be active and his favorite activities are hiking and swimming at the lake. He even has a doggie life-jacket! He also enjoys a good game of fetch. He lives in foster care with other dogs and he does well with most of them. He especially loves the oldest alpha female dog in his foster home. Bodhi would do best in a home by himself or with another laid-back female canine friend. He would also be best suited for a home without cats as he has a tendency to chase them. A home with older children would also be preferable. Bodhi can be skeptical of new people, but given a few minutes and the space to greet you on his terms, he warms up quickly. Of course, some stinky treats may help! He is fully vetted and ready for a forever family!
A DNA test for Bodhi revealed that he is a Rottie, AmStaff, Shar Pei mix!
