My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Alex! I'm a 1 year old, 35 pound Beagle/English Foxhound mix. I have to tell you that my picture doesn't do me justice. I am stunningly handsome in person!

I came here from a really rural shelter in Kentucky. I was there for 2 whole weeks and not one person visited the shelter looking to adopt. I heard talk of "putting us to sleep". I don't know what that meant but I don't think it was good.

I'm in a nice new place now and I don't hear any of that kind of talk anymore...yay! I'm an easy going, mild mannered, submissive boy. I'm also kind of a slug. I enjoy a romp with my friends or a nice walk but I'm not up for running marathons. I'll take some good old fashioned loving in place of exercise any day!

I'm always quiet in my crate and don't poop or pee inside. If you have been searching for a lovable slug, here I am! I would love to meet you and see if we are a good fit.
