Nate's Story...
Meet Nate! Nate is a 4 month old little Chihuahua mix who weighs about 7 pounds. He came to our rescue from Georgia, where he was abandoned and left alone to fend for himself for some time. As a result, he is a bit nervous and shy around people. But, once he gets to know someone, and can learn to trust them, he becomes more interactive and playful. When he gets very comfortable, he makes a great snuggling partner! Nate’s current foster home has older children and he is looking for a home with similar aged kids. This cutie loves playing with other dogs and is very comfortable having two in his foster home. He gains confidence from his canine companions and would do best in a forever home with a fur sibling. Nate’s forever home would ideally have a fenced in yard, and a family that can give both the time and patience that he needs in order to feel safe and loved.

Adoption donation of $300 includes age appropriate vaccinations and his neuter when he is approximately 5 months old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nate, a Marlton Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marlton, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Marlton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marlton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marlton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marlton paves the way for another one to be saved.
