Hi.. my name is ChaCha, but my foster mom calls me Smiley. I am a little Chihuahua dog, my foster mom thinks I might have a tiny tiny bit of Pug in me, cause I have such a cute little square face. I have spent my life giving life to little puppies, as is apparently by my droopy belly, but I am finished with that now. I love my foster home, but I am looking for a home of my very own. I'm not picky, I like my foster sisters and even the funny looking cat that has no tail. I am good in the house, Foster Mom says I am extra good as I 'hold it so long' and when I can't I use something called a Pee-Pee pad, she said that makes be very special. My life has not been too good up until now, but I don't let that get me down. I am just happy to be alive. Foster Mom says I have something called 'heart worms', but she is getting that all taken care of, she tells me I have to be very very quiet and still for 30 days while those worms are being removed from my heart. I know that will not stop the perfect family from taking me in to their home and I can promise that will not stop me from loving everyone in the home completely. If you would like to meet me and see just how wonderful I am please fill out an adoption application so if you love me as much as I know you will, you can take me home with you. You can also email my foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org
I was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved me and now they are helping me find the forever, loving home that I have never known.
I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and I am in a foster home. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care.
If you are interested adopting, please email email@example.com with Pet name and ID#. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond as all fosters work with us on a volunteer basis.
