I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Meet Lilly, a 17 pound, 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Lilly was found in the middle of a highway running for her life. She was almost hit by a semi-truck when three people stopped to help her. Terrified, Lilly scrambled into the safety of one Samaritans cars. She was then turned over to a DRDR supporter who brought her to the rescue with hopes that we could help this poor girl. Lilly was not claimed during her stray hold, however it is clear she was at one time someone's pet. Lilly was most likely used for breeding in her previous life, however we do not believe she was ever abused as Lilly is very mild mannered, gentle, and shows signs of having known love. She is crate trained and enjoys being in the house with her human family. Lilly loves dogs (big and small), cats, and will leave chickens alone (however she has been known to sneak into the hen house to steal some yummy fresh eggs). She is spayed and up to date on all her shots, plus she has been microchipped. Lilly is wonderful with small children who are gentle and kind to animals. Her foster family wants you to know Lilly is an absolute treasure and an easy addition to their busy home. If you are interested in learning more about Lilly, please mention her on your adoption application.
