UPDATE ON EDWIN:
Edwin is still HW+, despite treatment for over 6 months. He will play with other Doxies occasionally, but does not like toys. He likes to be in the same room as his person on a dog bed, but does not like to cuddle. He does not like to be up on the couch or chairs. He does like to sleep in the big bed, usually on top of the covers. He appreciates a sweater in the colder weather, but does not burrow in blankets. He loves to sleep on a cozy dog bed, and being an older gentleman, sleeps a good bit. He loves food and treats! He knows how to use the dog door, and is house trained, but like most Doxies does not going outside if it is cold or wet. He will use a potty pad.
This sweet boy found himself being turned into the shelter after his owner died and he was passed around between family members and then no one wanted him. He had been part of the family since he was a puppy. Since being in foster care Edwin is gaining a little weight, has more pep and is growing hair back on his ears and tail. Would you like to give this Southern Gentleman his forever home?
