Lakota's Story...
Meet Lakota! She is a 6 month old Malamute/Shepherd X girl ;) We have had a BLAST having this little angle stay with us!! We really couldn't have asked for a better first foster pup (my husband even jokes we should trade her in for our dog 😜 only joking of course!) she is beyond sweet with my son (who can be less than sweet himself!) I am pretty sure if she could figure out a way in, she would sleep in his crib with him! she slept wonderfully through the night, and loves playing with my pup! She is also the PERFECT mix of fun and playful and lazy and snuggly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lakota, a Manhattan Alaskan Malamute/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
