Alfie's Story...
Alfie is an adorable five year old male terrier that lived most of his life in a vet clinic in downtown LA. Thankfully, we rescued him and put him into the real world where he could be a dog able to run and play outside, instead of be in confinement in a cage. He has had four months of training and is now a happy and well adjusted dog who loves walks and laps. He is excellent with all dogs both big and small. Because Alfie does get possessive of his person, we prefer that he not be in a home with young kids. He has lots of terrier energy so would be best with owners who enjoy walks or even hikes would be great for this sweet boy. Alfie is neutered microchipped and current on vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfie, a Santa Monica Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
