Palmer is a male Havanese mix approximately 6 years in age. He is a soft, snuggly boy weighing 15 pounds full grown. Palmer has white curls with light gray ears and a few light gray spots on his sides. He is very handsome and the ultimate gentleman. Palmer has been professionally groomed and is non-shedding. Palmer is a wonderful lap dog and loves being near his people. He has a mellow, kind nature and a heart of gold. He is housebroken and has excellent manners inside the home. Palmer is happiest when he can be laying at your feet or snuggling next to you. He is gentle in everything he does and a very easy keeper. Palmer walks well on leash and has a nice amount of energy for strolls through the neighborhood or trips out and about doing errands. He does well with other dogs, even meeting new dogs on the street. He will stay close by your side and is a trusty little companion. Palmer is also great with kids although they should be gentle since he is a sweet, passive boy. Palmer will love a home where he can be pampered, cherished and fussed over. He really adores attention from people and does not need another dog in the home to feel secure. As long as he has his favorite humans, he's happy as a clam. Palmer was rescued from a very high volume shelter where he was confiscated from a hoarder’s home. He has remained incredibly sweet and loving despite his crowded, neglectful upbringing. Palmer deserves a home that cares for him and includes him as a valued family member. He will give you many wonderful years of unconditional love in return. Palmer is ready for his new forever loving home today!

Palmer’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Palmer is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Linda and Tom and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PALMER, a Newport Beach Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
