Sparky's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sparky's Story...
UPDATE: We have determined that poor Sparky does indeed have a seizure disorder. He will need to be on medication for the remainder of his life. This medication (phenobarbital and potassium bromide) will cost approximately $100 a month but this pooch is definitely well worth it. While on his medication, Sparky has little seizure activity and enjoys life as every dog should!

Welcome back SPARKY!

Sparky was adopted in March and returned in May because he started having seizures at his new home and they were not able to take care of him. He's being treated and accessed by one of Hart's vet offices. They are going to try reducing the seizure medicine to see if he truly has a medical issue because Sparky had also gotten into cleaning solution the same day.

Sparky weighs about 40 pounds and is 7 months old. He loves playing with all of the dogs in the foster home. He's full of energy and likes to have tons of toys to play with.

If you'd like to meet this gorgeous boy please e-mail doghart@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Cincinnati Corgi/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Corgi/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Corgi/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
